My fiancé and I stumbled upon this charming restaurant during our visit, and while we found it easy to book a table, our last-minute Sunday reservation meant we had to wait until 8pm. The lively atmosphere was enhanced by low lighting, … More

Valentine’s Day with the family was celebrated with a great Italian restaurant.
We started of our night with Tuscan Red Wine from Montalcino region suggested by our server Tomas.
For appetizers:
• 2 Dozen Oysters. Tiny but fresh and they went out fast!
• Calamari in Gratella was amazing! They were grilled and perfectly cooked squid’s. Splash of lemon and a sprinkle of salt.
• Cesare Salad was delicious! Always a must order and not overpowered with so much dressing.
• Chicken Liver Pate in Crostini brought me back memories of when my grandma used to make them back in the day. Perfect seasoning.
For entrée:
• Rigatoni Norcina was amazingly delicious! Perfect amount of truffle flavor. Every bite was definitely enjoyed!
For dessert:
• Créme Caramel AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Not good at all
• Tiramisu HIGHLY disappointed. If you’re looking for the typical classical tiramisu; this is not it! It’s literally ice cream with coffee flakes. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
• Panna Cotta was the best dessert we had.

Such a phenomenal experience. The food was so good and service was great. I sat at the bar (Tuesday night 12/2) and both bartenders were amazing. I had the blackberry and cinnamon drink with bourbon (instead of vodka). Superb! I had the eggplant parmigiana, the bolognese, and a Cesar salad. All were divine. The eggplant was cooked perfectly and very cheesy. The pasta was different as they use a cream sauce instead of red BUT some of the best bolognese I've had. I had the fresh berries and cream for dessert. It was good but I wish there was a little more of it. The bar area is loud and there are 2 tvs. Best to make a reservation of you want to sit in the dining area!

We came here after a baby shower. Despite the busy streets from a Thai festival, we were seated instantly. Delicious food! We got the gnocchi and beef carpaccio to start, both of which were very good. I got the pollo castallana for the main … More

We shared bruschetta and the tricolor salad to start with, and had spaghetti pomodoro and mediterrenean sea bass as mains.
Everything was delicious but the sea bass exceptional, so tender and we dipped bread to its sauce.
Their fresh bread and olive oil are also a highlight and generous wine portions!

Was slim pickings for reservations for Mother's Day so ended up here. Had been a few times at the bar for drinks and apps before. Service was pretty good, ambience not bad. Small size of chairs was a bit weird - close to the floor, like for kids or something. Got cheese plate and bruschetta for apps - both very good. Main course pasta was absolutely horrendous - seafood was one, mushroom and something else was the other. Probably the worst pasta dish I ever had in my life - think getting home drunk at 3am, boiling some water and making a dish yourself. That bad - but worse. My wife's dish was terrible too. My daughter's food was ok - but it was just pasta and pesto so hard to screw that up, I suppose. Anyway, worst pasta dishes I ever had - by miles. So overall, not great.

Comfortable atmosphere with dim lighting and tables that feel more private than they appear. Great quality food with generous portions and served by knowledgeable and friendly staff. Reservations are not required by suggested. If you order one of the pasta dishes I recommend sharing, the portions are generous.

I had the Tutto Pepe - similar to Steak au poivre and a tricolor salad. The salad was fresh, with a light drizzle of excellent aged balsamic. The steak was one of the best I have ever had. The decor and ambience are impressive. The glass in the lights and sconces is handmade. More

Toscano delivered an absolutely delicious dining experience tonight for these two Jerseyans! From the moment we walked in, the upscale ambiance set the perfect tone – elegant yet welcoming. Every dish we ordered was a testament to quality and skill, and we found the existing rave reviews to be completely accurate. It's rare to find a place that truly lives up to its reputation, but Toscano exceeded our expectations. If we're ever back in the area, a return visit will be on our list. Highly recommend for a truly memorable meal!

Have now been to both Toscano locations in Beacon Hill and in Cambridge and can say both restaurants are fantastic. The Cambridge establishment is a little more cozy and my preference of the two but the food and service at both locations are equally great!

Very good oysters. The staff were very patient. You can make reservations here. The oysters were not briney despite their size. The rigatoni is very popular. There is a decent wine selection. The meatballs were also quite tasty. It is a fairly open space. More
